Maleficent: Mistress of Evil



Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is an upcoming American dark fantasy adventure film produced by Walt Disney Pictures, directed by Joachim Rønning, and written by Linda Woolverton, Micah Fitzerman-Blue, and Noah Harpster from a story by Woolverton.
It is the sequel to the 2014 global hit,
In this film Maleficent and Aurora begin to question their complex family ties as they are pulled in different direction by impending nuptials, unexpected allies and dark new forces at play.
With Angelina Jolie returning to portray the title role. Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville also return to their previous roles, with Harris Dickinson replacing Brenton Thwaites from the first film and Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ed Skrein, and Michelle Pfeiffer joining the cast as new characters.

Memory: The Origins of Alien



Memory: The Origins of Alien is a 2019 documentary directed by Alexandre O. Philippe that examines the production of the 1979 film Alien, with particular focus on the role of co-writer Dan O'Bannon in its development.
 It uses interviews with the film's cast, crew and other industry professionals, as well as behind the scenes clips, to detail the development and filming of the movie and analyze its subtext. 
The documentary premiered on January 24, 2019 at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, which was followed by a limited theatrical run in both the United States and United Kingdom

Joker



Joker is the new American psychological thriller film on 2019 directed by Todd Phillips, who co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Silver. 

The film, based on DC Comics characters, stars Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker, this film is not a Batman movie. He's not in the title, he's not in the synopsis, he's not on set.

The film, which acts as an origin story for the Joker, is set in 1981 and follows Arthur Fleck, a failed stand-up comedian who turns to a life of crime and chaos in Gotham City.

Phoenix became attached to the project in February 2018 and was cast that July, while the majority of the cast like Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, and Frances Conroy signed on by August to appear in supporting roles.
the filming  took place in New York City, Jersey City, and Newark. Joker was the first live-action Batman franchise film to receive an R-rating from the Motion Picture Association of America, due to its violent and disturbing content.

Joker premiered at the 76th Venice International Film Festival on August 31, 2019, where it won the Golden Lion, the festival's highest prize. It is scheduled to be theatrically released in the USA on October 4, 2019.

Rambo: Last Blood



Rambo: Last Blood is a 2019 American action thriller film directed by Adrian Grunberg and co-written by Sylvester Stallone, who also reprises his role as Vietnam War veteran John Rambo. 
the mocie is a sequel to Rambo (2008), it co-stars Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Adriana Barraza, Yvette Monreal, Genie Kim, Joaquín Cosío, and Oscar Jaenada. 
The story follows Rambo as he travels to Mexico to save his niece, who has been kidnapped by a Mexican cartel. It is the fifth installment in the Rambo franchise. Plans for a fifth film were announced on and off again since 2008, with different iterations developed and cancelled. It was finally officially announced in May 2018, and production began that October in Bulgaria and also took place in Tenerife (Canary Islands), lasting through December. Brian Tyler returned to score the film. Rambo: Last Blood was theatrically released in the United States on September 20, 2019, by Lionsgate. Critics gave the film negative reviews, which focused on the generic script, gruesome violence, and perceived racism and xenophobia

AD ASTRA



 Ad Astra is a 2019 American science fiction adventure film produced, co-written and directed by James Gray. Starring Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler, and Donald Sutherland, the movie follows an astronaut who goes into space in search of his lost father, whose experiment threatens the Solar System. 
Pitt signed on to star in April 2017 and the rest of the cast joined later that year. Filming began around Los Angeles that August, lasting through October. 
Ad Astra had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on August 29, 2019, and was theatrically released in the United States on September 20, 2019 by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
the film received mostly positive reviews from critics, with universal praise for Pitt's performance.

It Chapter Two


It Chapter Two is an American supernatural horror film and the sequel to the 2017 film It, both based on the 1986 novel by Stephen King. 
The film is directed by Andy Muschietti and written by Gary Dauberman. 

The film is set in 2016, 27 years after the first film, it stars Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, and Andy Bean as the adult versions of the Losers' Club. Jaeden Martell, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Chosen Jacobs, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Wyatt Oleff reprise their roles as the younger Losers, while Bill Skarsgård also returns as Pennywise the Dancing Clown.

The talks the sequel began in February 2016. 

Summary: Twenty-seven years after the Losers Club defeated Pennywise, he has returned to terrorize the town of Derry once more. Now adults, the Losers have long since gone their separate ways. However, people are disappearing again, so Mike, the only one of the group to remain in their hometown, calls the others home. Damaged by the experiences of their past, they must each conquer their deepest fears to destroy Pennywise once and for all...putting them directly in the path of the shape-shifting clown that has become deadlier than ever.

It Chapter Two premiered at the Regency Village Theater in Los Angeles on August 26, 2019, and was theatrically released in the United States by Warner Bros. Pictures on September 6, 2019.

Jojo Rabbit



Jojo Rabbit is an upcoming American satirical black comedy-drama film scheduled to be released on October 18, 2019, by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. written and directed by Taika Waititi, based on the book Caging Skies by Christine Leunens. 

The film stars Roman Griffin Davis, Thomasin McKenzie, Waititi, Rebel Wilson, Stephen Merchant, Alfie Allen, Sam Rockwell, and Scarlett Johansson.

Synopsis "During the Second World War, lonely German boy Jojo "Rabbit" Betzler (Roman Griffin Davis) has his worldview turned upside down when he discovers that his single mother Rosie (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. Aided only by his imaginary friend in the form of an idiotic version of Adolf Hitler (Taika Waititi), Jojo must confront his blind nationalism."

Release

The film will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8, 2019. It will also screen at Fantastic Fest in September 2019. The film is scheduled to be released on October 18, 2019

Ready or Not is a 2019 American black comedy horror film directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett from a screenplay by Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy.
