What are Jay-Z's plans for the NFL??

billboard.com
In the song 'Apeshit' released in 2018 Jay-Z rapped the line “I said no to the Super Bowl: You need me, I don’t need you,” but on Tuesday of last week the National Football League announced a partnership with Roc Nation, the label run by Jay-Z.

with this partnership Roc Nation will be the live music entertainment strategist for the league and will focus on enhancing the league's live game day experience, as well as augment social justice efforts through the Inspire Change initiative.

Why this sudden change of heart, or in this case business is business for The Brooklyn entertainer and businessman.

Jay-Z, said, addressing Roc Nation’s new partnership with the NFL “I think we’ve moved past kneeling. I think it’s time to go on to actionable items.“ a reporter asked him if he would kneel or stand if he were playing.

But Colin Kaepernick is not happy with this announcement nor his supporters, because the Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick took things to Social media to call on people to take a stand, writing, "Stay strong Brothers!!"and Jay-Z now is facing backlash from supporters of Colin Kaepernick and critics of the National.

Celebrities like Cardi B, DJ Khaled, and rapper Vic Mensa are supporting the entrepreneur and saying that Jay-Z has other plans and he is still looking out for Colin Kaepernick .
